Sora yawned. Her hand flying to her mouth to cover the wide movement. At her side Rocket and Nuke perked up, their ears raising in curiosity. She gave each of the collies a loving kiss before throwing her blankets off and stripping down to hop in a hot shower. It was only hours till the big ride tonight and she planned to make it the best few hours as possible, like she always did on event days; You know just in case they were her last nights ever.
The day passed quickly with her making breakfast and watching her favorite movie, Titanic, which had become a ritual by now. Then she had read and played with the boys, being sure to tell them she loved them lots. Just before she was about to head to the arena to look over her mount she looked over at Landon's trailer which still seemed to be locked tight. Smiling to herself she scrawled a short message on a scrap of paper before changing and leaving her trailer completely.
She paused at his door, her hand slipping into her pocket and pulling out the note, just a slip of paper with the words 'Luck, Luck, Luck' scrawled upon it. She stuck it firmly between the tines of the door then turned and moseyed on over to the Wells Fargo Arena. Stopping to say hi to anyone she passed.
Later that night her heart was racing as she twisted her strap. This was it, just minutes before her ride and she was nervous. When her name was called she glanced around, seeing Eliza in the crowd then looking over the other riders. Landon's eye caught hers and she shot him a smile, and a quick thumbs up before she sauntered to the chute.
The Hump snorted angrily once she was mounted. She shifted a little tested her seat and then nodded to the operator.
'Ok,' She thought as the gate was open. '8 Seconds to Go.'

Love this piece. Its not perfect but it was fun and I really like the movement.
